The Nightmare Stacks (Charles Stross) — 7/10

Glad we’re finally giving up on the first-person pretense that worked less and less as the author was struggling to justify it diagetically. And I like how he updated his universe to take into account the implications of the existence of vampires. But my ears tend to glaze over during descriptions of war, no matter how skilled they are.

Anyway, this is the last of the series on my iPhone, and I probably don’t care enough to buy the rest. But who knows, maybe I won’t be able to resist the urge to find out “how it ends.”
