The Annihilation Score (Charles Stross) —
I should love the change of perspective, but I got very angry with the way Stross chooses to write a woman character. It got better in the second half as the actual plot got moving, but the book starts out with several chapters of Mo consumed with irrational jealousy over two of Bob’s exes — and the author has the gall to namecheck the Bechdel test early on. It bothers me enough that I was tempted to just give up on the series, but the next book was already on my phone, so we’ll see.
