The Rhesus Chart (Charles Stross) — 7/10

A good story, with the advantage of straying away from the usual, predictable structure. But the book presents: 1) a tired cliché of an unfair marital argument, where the wife blames the husband for something he couldn’t help; 2) a blatantly tropey crazy ex-girlfriend; 3) essentially a succubus. One of these would have been enough for me to roll my eyes at the author. Managing to combine all three into a single book is beyond the pale.
