The Nevers S1A —
It’s a bit messy, it sports all of Whedon’s tropes and problematic tics, the rhythm’s a bit weird at times and Claudia Black shows up in the last episode to remind you in a few scenes that every other actor in this show is an amateur — but it remains enjoyable. I suspect that any story that’s basically shaped like Buffy will always feel like home.
Curious to see what becomes of it with a showrunner switch.
