Veep S7 —
It started slow, but this final season managed to find some surprising relevancy (unfortunately helped by the fact that real-life American politics have become worse than any show dared imagine) and managed to end on several strong episodes, which is quite the accomplishment after it had fallen so low. Are the previous two seasons better in retrospect, realizing that they were all about setting up this conclusion? I’m gonna go with no, they still could have bothered to be good in their own right.
