The Fifth Season (N. K. Jemisin)
I’ve never felt so much like I was reading the novelization of an anime. Well written, highly visual, inventive and fun and full of twists, and a fascination with LGBT characters that is supposed to be inclusive but comes off as exploitative to the point that I’m reluctant to keep going with the trilogy.
