William Gibson, Pattern Recognition
A Neuromancer remix: still hard to read, still chock full of painstakingly detailed descriptions (and trademarks this time, as fits the subject), still a character being led from the beginning to the end, not making any single personal choice or decision in the process. Fortunately, the story is not important, only an excuse to mix touristic guide and philosophical essay on the modern world, and the end result is often fascinating.
Want to know when I post new content to my blog? It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.underachievementunlocked.com to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.

C'est fort possible, tout ce que je sais c'est que la VO n'est pas mal traduite :)
Vu que Gibson n'est pas particulièrement facile, et qu'en plus ça parle d'internet, j'imagine que la VF peut sans difficulté être calamiteuse, effectivement :)

J'ai un avis assez partagé sur ce livre.
J'en garde un excellent souvenir de lecture. Il est passionnant de bout en bout. Sauf qu'arrivé à la fin, on se dit :"Euuuh, c'est tout ?" On s'attend à tout moment à une révélation, à un évènement majeur, et, non. Rien.
